Tell us a little about your background... where you are from ?

I´m from a very small village called Vänge outside of Uppsala in Sweden. I grew up with both my parents and my older brother.

What/who inspires you ? What would you say are your major influences?

Dreams are very big inspiration sources to me. I have really detailed dreams and many night mares and they have inspired to many of my pictures. But it could be what ever really, as long as it awakes a feeling, good or bad one. Paintings, photos, music. My own personal emotions are very important as well for the creativity. I get a lot of inspiration through the way I feel. And love... it inspires me a lot..

How would you describe your photos for someone who's never seen them ?

hmm, well I think I would say that I take a lot of portraits and landscape pictures... and that it is about inner worlds and feelings. Some of the portraits are taken when the persons are in their own minds, or maybe in their own worlds. Connected disconnection.

How do the public and the critics perceive your work ?

Some think it is really relaxing. Others think the pictures are a bit scary. But I get some really nice comments sometimes and it feels very good that someone actually likes what I do.

What's the strangest request you've had ?

Once I met a retired model who had just opened a bar. He asked me to decorate his whole place with pictures, like the floor, tables, curtains, ceiling, the bar, just everything should be covered up in with my photos. But finally we never got through with it. It could have been fun.

What kind of images interest you at the moment?

I´m a the moment thinking about love all the time. In good ways and in bad ways... so now everything circulates around that. Love and relations. And covered faces.

What projects are you working on now ?

I can say it has got do with hair...

What makes you happy ?

Love makes me very happy.
