What/who inspires you ?

The new wave graphic design and art in Los Angeles from 1979 - 1981. Pinups from the 40's. Fashion from every era.

Tell us a little about your background.

I grew up in Reno, my family are ranchers. I'm the only artist. I studied painting at Parson's in Paris. I live in Los Angeles... and love it. The art scene here is really alive.

Who/what are you working for now ?

I'm endlessly attempting to make the perfect pop culture image. I'm working with Margaret Cho, Diamanda Galas, Siouxsie Sioux, Skinny Puppy, and Interview Magazine and of course, www.fallenfruit.org. It's a conceptual eco/art project in collaboration with Dave Burns and Matias Viegner.

Do you have any new projects coming up that you can tell us about ?

I'm working on some video art,"Queen Please" a short film featuring Margaret Cho, and a documentary called, "Hadda Brooks, Queen of the boogie" in collaboration with Barry Pett. I love digital video. It's cheap so let's have a revolution!
